When thinking about starting a business, at least in the sense of an endeavor that can generate enough revenue as to maintain its core activities without external funding, one of the first steps is to lay out a plan on how to generate a net influx of cash.
Business models are normally addressed with a framework that can quickly help determine its viability. This includes thinking about, for example, the unfair advantage, unique selling proposition, the problem being solved.
